East Coast Pro Wrestling presents "Island Invasion" on Sunday, June 1st
at The North Sydney Forum with action getting underway at 7:00 PM. This
exciting night of professional wrestling will feature the top stars of
the Maritime wrestling scene as well as two of the best known wrestling
superstars in the world today.
The main event for Island
Invasion has been released. The reigning ECPW Heavyweight Champion
Kowboy Mike Hughes will defend his title against none other then former
WWE & ECW Superstar Al Snow. This will be the first title defense
for the Kowboy since winning the championship back in September at
Autumn Aggression.
His opponent is no stranger to
championships as he has held numerous titles in the WWE and various
regional promotions. As the past trainer for Ohio Valley Wrestling, Al
Snow is a top contender in all the promotions he appears in. He now has
his sets sight on the ECPW Championship to add to his resume. He will
have his work cut out for him as Kowboy Mike Hughes has beaten some of
the toughest superstars in the business and has no plans on losing his
match and his title at Island Invasion.
Other superstars set for
action on Sunday, June 1st include WWE & TNA Superstar Kip James
(Billy Gunn), Maritime Icon Wildman Gary Williams, Wrestling Reality
Superstar as seen on the Fight Network Brody Steele, Krysta Lynn Scott,
and many more!
